- Brief assessment of how the book is often seen
- Brief discussion of lens
- Thesis statement—includes:
- The critical lens the paper will consider
- The author and title of the book
- A generalized perspective someone looking through that lens would apply to this text
- Supporting Points sentence:
- A sentence that presents at least 3 aspects of the book to which you will apply the lens.
Time permitting:
Happy Halloween! Free write your own scary tale or on another topic while listening to Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Raven”.
